-
Because he's the only thoughtful candidate, and his community service record is far superior to any of the others.
-
I endorse Eric Hart because he doesn’t just listen to people — he understands how to turn ideas into meaningful community impact.
When I shared my vision for a post-hospitalization recuperative care facility in Willits, Eric immediately understood both the need and the challenges involved in making it a reality. He connected me with exactly the right people, and those introductions helped advance my nonprofit while also creating new opportunities and support for the organizations involved.
That is Eric Hart in action — a thoughtful leader and natural connector who understands that when the right people come together, entire communities benefit.
My business is in District 3, though I do not live there. Even so, I’ve seen firsthand the kind of care, thoughtfulness, and follow-through Eric brings to this community, and I believe he would be a tremendous asset to this county. -
I have known Eric for just short of a decade. I met him following his rescue and adoption of two dogs. I have worked with him through various diagnoses and problems with his dogs and cats, and I have been impressed with his calm, thoughtful, rational and reasonable demeanor, and his unflagging advocacy for their quality of life. He cares deeply about this community’s people, land, resources and organization. I see him volunteering with the FireSafe Council, and I’ve interacted with him socially outside of the clinic.. He is exactly the kind of person we want representing our interests and helping our community sort problems and find solutions. He is deeply intelligent, professional, and he listens. I endorse him without reservation and I’m proud to call him my friend.

Eric is passionate about building a healthy community, bringing folks together to educate, gather feedback and apply. He understands the steps necessary to make Mendocino a fire safe County, he has brought in outside resources to perform fuel reduction in rural communities and worked with local agencies to focus on areas that are in a high-risk area. He looks for opportunities to bring the community together focusing on our youth and young adults through community engagement, he understands the importance of installing a sense of community in the younger generation. Eric has my 100% support as Mendocino County Supervisor.
-
I think he would listen to the people of Mendocino who he would represent and try and do the best job possible
-
I’ve worked with Eric for many years on our local Fire Safe council. He’s a creative, educated and experienced thinker who believes in collaboration to solve issues. He’s proven that time and time again. I’ve learned to trust his abilities and am happy he’s running for Third District Supervisor. I’m looking forward to experiencing how he will be instrumental in helping lead us forward to resolving the important issues we’re facing.
-
Like his common sense approach to issues, had solutions to problems.
-
Eric is such an active part of the community that he fits the bill (for me) as County Supervisor. Shake his hand, look into his eyes and find out for yourself. Highly Recommended.
-
Eric has been a very active participant in this community for many years. He is very involved with the arts, with fire safety and many other important things in Mendocino County. We are proud to endorse him for County Supervisor.
-
I’ve personally witnessed Eric Hart’s unwavering dedication to our community. From spending his valuable downtime physically helping maintain emergency fire roads to actively supporting the local arts scene, Eric is always listening attentively and finding proactive, hands-on ways to make a real difference. His selfless commitment inspires us all, and I wholeheartedly endorse him!
-
I work with Eric in the Willits Rotary Club and have served on the County Grand Jury with him, where I find him to be intuitive, caring and possessing great integrity. He has workable and intelligent ideas to address Mendocino County's problems, and I look forward to seeing positive changes through his service as District 3 Supervisor. For these reasons, it my honor and pleasure to enthusiastically endorse his candidacy
-
Eric Hart has years of experience leading large organizations, fixing process, systems, and organizational culture issues. He understands how the county operates and how to fix it, while the other candidates have limited to no experience with this.
He has been very been active in community leadership, supporting everything from art, economic development, non-profits growth, emergency preparedness… while again, the other candidates haven’t done anything with the community until they started running for office.
He has a background working on a civil grand jury looking into the county operations for several years.
He is basically the kind of thoughtful person we want for the job who will pursue changes that make our county a better, safer, more prosperous place to live.escription

History of community service. Willits Art Center, fire prevention, etc.
-
Eric has excellent administrative skills and gets things done. He cares about our community. I know because I have worked with him.
-
Eric held a meet and greet in Willits tonight. Eric had a conversation with us. He was relatable and articulate. Eric answered many diverse questions, from county budget & structure, employee needs, and community voice. Further, I think Eric has a temperament that will help the group through spirited conversations.
-
Eric has the knowledge and persistence to bring the County to the next level of technology and leadership. For the county to grow we need to leave the old ways behind, he will lead Mendocino County with integrity, honesty, and a quiet strength that speaks volumes.
-
Impressive skill set and articulation of how to get the people’s work done. His approach is pragmatic and he is genuine in his care for our community. We need someone who will fairly represent us in the northern hinterlands of Laytonville. Eric impresses as a competent and reasonable choice for the north county.

I am proud to wholeheartedly endorse Eric Hart for County Supervisor. I have had the privilege of knowing Eric for 8 years, and throughout that time, I’ve consistently been impressed by his integrity, dedication, and genuine commitment to serving our community.
Eric is someone who listens. He takes the time to understand the concerns of everyday people and approach challenges with thoughtfulness and practical solutions. Whether it’s advocating for safer neighborhoods, supporting local businesses, or striving to improve things for all of the members of Mendocino county, Eric leads with both compassion and accountability.
What sets Eric apart is his ability to bring people together. He believes in collaboration over division and has a proven track record of working with diverse groups of people to achieve meaningful results. His leadership, where I have experienced it, has always been grounded in transparency and a strong sense of responsibility to the general community.
Our county deserves a leader who not only understands the issues we face but is also willing to put in the hard work to address them. I am confident that Eric will serve with honor and make decisions that reflect the best interests of our entire community.
If not clear by now, I strongly encourage each and every member of Mendocino county to support Eric for County Supervisor.
